Vintage 60s Tom Drum Corps Batter Cloud Logo Weather Master -- Serial number 2979981(I found a Weather Master Snare Drum Head Early 60's Orchestra Batter with same serial number on a professional site) .... Have been told this is the face only that is a Ludwig part. Measures approx. 14.5" rim to rim and 6.5" tall Please see that I am not a drum person. Ebayer states just the face is Ludwig. There is a small hole or holes. There are pieces in a plastic bag in the accessory part of the case...perhaps they were part of a mounting system and those holes were for them. Again, only guessing. The tightening lever? is marked Japan. This is as found and I have not cleaned or changed anything from the way it was other than to remove it from it's original black case for photographing it.Note the six drumsticks and the black wedge also in the accessory section. Two - Camber Rock, Hand finished Hickory SticksTwo - JOJO, 2B SticksTwo - L.A.Special 2B Hickory Sticks This as can see has it's original case an some accessories. It appears to be in very good shape, although you can see on the front and back where the skin? is wore a bit. I see no pitting, perhaps very light minor scratches. Needs to be polished. I believe it would be an excellent addition to a collection or to use. Please remember you are buying antique / vintage items. There is going to be wear on some of these old treasures.
