Responsibilities:
Quoting parts for jobs: Receive job packet from Department Supervisors, review part sheets, Obtain price and availability from internal and external vendors, and send job packet to the Planner.
Negotiating and order parts from Outside Vendors. Current spend for internal and external parts is $20
Million.
Review SAP shortage report and expedite parts needed to complete service orders.
Work with the accounting department on issues dealing with jobs or expenses.
Maintain supplier information records and purchase orders
Track shop budget vs. expenses
Analyze and correct receiving issues, accounting invoices, and freight costs.
Negotiate pricing with vendors.
Ability to maintain professional attitude while dealing with vendors. Manage the overall supplier relationship.
Actively identify and manage cost savings projects related to purchasing.
Identify and manage vendors supplying materials with Conflict Mineral reporting requirements.
Identify and manage purchased materials that carry Environmental Reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience required
Associates or Bachelors Degree is preferred
CPIM, CIRM or Supply Chain Management Certification preferred
Ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with vendors while maintaining strong relationships
Time management skills and ability to work in fast paced environment
Proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience working with SAP is a plus
Ability to drive process improvements
Previous experience working in ISO environment is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
