Who is a Member Advisor II?
Member Advisor IIs are the face of Affinity Plus! Whether you are working with members face-to-face, over the phone, or through email, you build relationships and own the experience with every member you interact with. Yes, you heard it right! You get paid to take the time to get to know people and there are no quotas here!
What are some of the tasks you may do on a day-to-day basis?
Listen to the member to understand their needs. Determine the different types of consumer loan and credit options that are available to the member
Assist members with consumer lending questions and applications
Analyze member's financial situation and credit report to determine if it is in the member's best interest to approve the loan
Obtain essential documentation for consumer loan applications
Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy
Approve loans within specified limits, and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval
Open membership accounts including, but not limited to: savings, checking, certificates of deposit, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)
Identify and recommend products and services aligning with member's needs
Process deposit/withdraw of funds in checking, savings, and loan accounts
Execute wire or ACH transferring of funds
Instant issue debit, credit, and gift cards
Assist members with budgeting
Balance and maintain personal cash drawer and branch vault
Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Intermediate Computer Skills - You must have the ability to navigate between multiple systems with ease
2 - 3 years of customer service experience and 1 to 2 years consumer lending experience
Associated Degree preferred or equivalent experience
High school diploma or GED required
Workplace Environment:
Sitting 90-95% and standing/waking 5-10%
Working at a computer 98% of the day
Utilizing the phone 90-95%
Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, or crouching when appropriate, on occasion
Repetitive movements, including but not limited to typing, using a mouse, phones, etc.
Lift, carry, push or pull up to approximately 30 pounds (cash/coin bags, supplies, etc.)
Additional Information:
Schedule will requiring flexibility to work Monday - Friday on rotating shifts including 7:30am - 4:00pm, 8:30am - 5:00pm and 9:45am - 6:15pm. Shift will also include working every third Saturday from 8:00am - 12:15pm.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
